Of course the way my life works out, I miss Rihanna ringing customers out at her pop up shop last night. Not to mention my friend text me in the middle of the day asking were we going to the pop up! AHHHHHH!
I don’t know if I’m more irritated that I missed Rihanna or her Marie Antoinette inspired active wear collection. Mind you, I had plans to drop in the next day after work, because the hype would’ve died down. But after Rihanna’s appearance last night, I’m sure today will be even a bigger frenzy (hence why I don’t do events with super large crowds. My anxiety cant take it). I can’t take how flawless RiRi is. Everything she wears is so effortless.
As if being a Rockstar and Fashion Designer isn’t enough, Rihanna is now adding jewelry designer to her repertoire! Today, Chopard released this image of Rihanna shining bright like a diamond (how appropriate). While many of the pieces are price upon request (which means its too damn expensive for the average Rihanna fan) however there is a ring that’s $1460. Okay Rihanna, let us know when your collaborate with Claire’s or Forever 21!
Now if the collection isnt too rich for your blood, it comes in two parts. There is a minimalist collection that consists of delicate geometrical shapes in rose gold earrings, rings and bracelets. While the “High End” line has chandelier earrings, ear clips and a watch (which is 30 Karats). The line is not for the faint of heart.
Anyone peep how the R 🖤C, also spells ROC! (She’s signed to Roc Nation)
Also this pic reminds me of Eva Pigford idk why but it does!

Since the departure of Hedi Slimane, we all have wondered what his successor, Anthony Vaccarello, is going to do with the brand. My friends, I am thoroughly pleased with Anthony’s takeover and yearn for many pieces such as this off the shoulder number.
BUT NOTHING compares to these babies that graced the runway on Milan! I like to call these boots that were made for walking, “I Wanna Rock With You!” These show stopping Swarovski encrusted boots have already made a home in Rihanna’s closet (of course) and is deemed the it boot of the season!

“There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time. So it was a no-brainer for me to team up with Harper’s Bazaar in honor of a woman who held her own with the big boys.” —Rihanna
Rihanna covers Harper’s Bazaar’s 150th Anniversary issue. Chic but sexy, Rihanna channels Amelia’s utilitarian look and she is to die for. Amelia Earhart’s essay, originally published in Harpers Bazaar in 1929, gave tips on how women could travel fashionably.
Here’s an excerpt:
“What does the woman aviator wear? This question is asked me as often as any other connected with aviation. Ten years ago I could have described a flying costume. It would have consisted of helmet, goggles, leather jacket, breeches, and some sort of high boots. There were no traditions but those of wartime flying to follow, and both men and women adopted or modified it to suit commercial needs. Also, flying fields were usually dirty, planes were crude, and there were no refinements in facilities, such as passenger waiting-rooms, and so forth…..
Usually, on a solo flight, I wear low-heeled shoes, because with low heels it is easier to keep my feet braced on the rudder bar… On the Friendship flight I couldn’t follow the rule of wearing sports clothes. The trip was a pioneering one, and comforts were not thought of. Clothes suitable for “roughing it” had to be taken. For instance, there was no step from the pontoons to the door, and I couldn’t have jumped into the plane in a skirt….”

Rihanna revealed her FentyXPuma SS17 and it was nothing short amazing. Unlike her fall black and white collection, this whimsical Marie Antoinette inspired collection implements color. When asked was her inspiration, Rihanna simply replied, “I imagined Marie Antoinette at the gym. “What a dope concept and it shows through tremendously through the satin corsets and silk slip dresses donned with pearls and lace fans. Kudos to you Rihanna, you made us Fashionitas very proud! Check out the rest of the collection. (more…)
