As New Yorkers happy hour is an important destination stop in between leaving the office and home. The commute in this bustling city is enough to drive anyone insane, and making a good cocktail ater work NECESSARY! I recently visited Sala One Nine in the Flatiron area of Manhattan. I have been living in Manhattan for three years and I have walked past this place so many times. Due to the illusion of the curtains, it gives off this sense of a small cramped space. Yesterday I decided to venture in and discovered this authentic Spanish tapas restaurant with a great happy hour.
Here is the run down! Sala One Nine is open for lunch at noon in which they have a menu that includes croquetas, hot sandwiches, and paella. To accompany their lunch entrees they have $5 sangria (red and white) and draft beers. Here is the beauty in things peeps. Happy hour then starts at 4pm and goes until 7pm and it is half off sangria, draft beer, and select Spanish wines. Drop in and tell them that Dom from The District Confidential sent you 🙂
